I am a mother of 2 and I started running in May 2013 to help with weight loss, when my kids were 2 and 4. In 2 1/2 years I’m down 60 pounds, have run the nyc marathon twice, done 9 half marathons and about 25 other races of various distances. i’ve also completed 2 sprint triathlons. my next goal is to complete a half ironman. i am a member of nyrr, northport running club and i run 4. i will continue to run until my body won’t let me. i hope to be one of those 80 year old ladies still running marathons!
